The sequel to “Dune” is already in the works

“Dune” was a box office success this weekend. The movie grossed upwards of $40.1 million dollars in total in its opening weekend.

“Dune” stars the actor named Timothée Chalamet. Timothée Chalamet is Paul Atreides. “Dune” is a movie based-off of the popular science-fiction book series of the same name. The author of the book series is named Frank Herbert.

The production company named “Legendary” is behind the movie. “Legendary” informed the media that a sequel to the movie is already planned.

This is what “Legendary” had to say:

“This is only the beginning… Thank you to those who have experienced @dunemovie so far, and those who are going in to the movie theaters in these days and these weeks ahead. We’re excited to continue the journey!”

Timothée Chalamet was also thrilled at the success of his movie. This is what Timothée Chalamet had to say on his Instagram account about the booming opening weekend:

“Thank you to everyone who saw these movies in theaters this past weekend. The movies exist because of the cast and the crew, but the fans who went to see it this weekend got the movie over the finish line! So… thank you!”

Timothée Chalamet is well-known for his movie debut in the movie, “Little Women.” He played the character named Laurie, or Theodore Laurence, in that movie.

“Dune” is drastically different from the historical movie, “Little Women.” Timothée Chalamet is surely showing-off his acting chops in his newest science-fiction movie role.

The second “Dune” movie is set to be released in movie theaters on October 20, 2023.

I loved Timothée Chalamet in the movie, “Little Women.” He was great as “Laurie,” or Theodore Laurence. I’m sure he has done an outstanding job on this movie, too. I can’t wait to see it.

Always and forever,
Summer Parker

  1. I have never heard of this book series until I watched this movie. I think I will check-it-out now. It will tide me over until the second movie is released.
