The book was thrown at R. Kelly… and some may feel like it is about time. Since the 1990’s era, there are rampant rumors that spread about R. Kelly. People said that he sexually abused dozens of young girls and women.
In 2021, R. Kelly was found guilty of eight counts of sex trafficking. He was also found guilty of one count of racketeering.
On Wednesday, R. Kelly was sentenced to 30-years in jail for these crimes.
It is great to hear that R. Kelly has finally been sentenced… though perhaps we must wonder if the length of his jail sentence matches-up to the seriousness of his crimes.
