A new television series named “A League of their Own” is coming out on Amazon Prime Video

There is a new television series to hit Amazon Prime Video. The new television series is named, “A League of their Own.” This television series is a spin-off of the 1990’s movie of the same name.

“A League of their Own” is about a group of women who come together to play baseball during World War II.

The creators of this new television series are named Abbi Jacobson and Will Graham. This is what the two had to say about the new television series:

“Twenty-eight years ago, Penny Marshall told us a story about women playing professional baseball that up until then had been largely overlooked. We grew up obsessed with the film, like everyone else. Three years ago, we approached Sony with the idea of telling a new, still overlooked set of those stories.

With the help of an enormously talented team of collaborators, an amazing cast, and the devoted support of Amazon to this project, we feel beyond lucky and excited to get to bring these characters to life.

It took grit, fire, authenticity, wild imagination and a crackling sense of humor for these players to achieve their dreams. We’re hoping to bring audiences a story with all of those qualities.”

The new stars of this television series are as follows: Abbi Jacobson, Chanté Adams, D’Arcy Carden, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Kelly McCormack, Roberta Colindrez and Priscilla Delgado.

The actor named Jimm Offerman will play the baseball coach in this league of strong athletic woman. The baseball coach is named Casey “Dove” Porter.

The television personality named Rosie O’Donnell was in the original movie. She is set to make an appearance on this new television show.

This new television has a release date on Amazon Prime Video. It will be released on Friday, August 12.

I enjoyed the original movie. I think this television series will be just as good.
