Chris Evans will no longer play Captain America

You guessed it. Chris Evans will not be playing Captain America any longer. You may or may not have determined this from the last Avengers movie named Avengers: End Game.

The new Captain American will be played by Anthony Mackie. Anthony Mackie will play Sam Wilson in the up-coming Captain America movie. He is the new Captain America.

This is what Chris Evans said about it:

“No one better to do it. Mackie honestly does it justice. I’m so proud of him. I can’t wait to see what they do in the future with it. If there is any tears shed, it’s just for the sweet memories I had playing Captain America.”

The next Captain America movie that stars Anthony Mackie is called Captain America: New World Order. The film will be released in theaters on May 3, 2024.

There is some speculation about whether or not Chris Evans will have any role in the up-coming film. As of the moment, that is still up-in-the-air.

Things won’t be the same now that Chris Evans will not be playing Cap any longer.
