Shawn Mendes launched his tour named “Wonder: The World Tour” in the month of June 2022. He was set to visit places like Miami and Las Vegas on the American leg of the Wonder tour. The tour was set to end in Newark, New Jersey on October 26, 2022.
However, Shawn recently told the media and his fans that he is not able to complete his tour. He seems to be facing depression and other issues that hinder him from completing the tour schedule that was already planned and organized.
Shawn posted on his Instagram account and updated his fans to tell them the reason for his tour’s end.
This is what he said:
“As you guys know, I had to postpone the past few weeks of shows since I wasn’t totally prepared for the toll that being back on the road would take on me. I started this tour excited to finally get back to playing live after a long break due to the pandemic, but the reality is I was not at all ready for how difficult touring would be after this time away.”
However, Shawn explained to his fans that he still plans to make more music. He hopes that the new album that he works on will be released soon.
“I know you all have been waiting so long to see these shows,” said Shawn. “And it breaks my heart to tell you this but I promise I will be back as soon as I’ve taken the right time to heal.”
Always and forever,
Summer Parker
I wanted to see this. It is a shame that he had to cancel. I hope he will play more live shows when he makes more new music.
