The movie “Batgirl” is cancelled

The movie studio named Warner Brothers finished filming a new super-hero movie named, “Batgirl.” However, in a surprise turn of events the movie is cancelled.

The movie is already filmed and completed. “Batgirl” cost $90 million to be made with the movie’s cast, the movie’s director, and the movie’s producer. That did not stop the Warner Brothers film studio’s decision to stop the film from appearing on the silver screen.

Leslie Grace stars as Barbara Gordon. Gordon’s alter ego is, “Batgirl.” Leslie is mostly known for her movie role as “Nina” in the underground-hit film named, “In the Heights.”

This is what the Warner Brothers film studio had to say about Leslie: “Leslie Grace is an incredibly talented actor and this decision is not a reflection of her performance.”

The Warner Brother’s film studio did not fully explain the film studio’s decision to stop this movie from premiering. They did say that, “The decision to not release ‘Batgirl’ reflects our leadership’s strategic shift as it relates to the DC universe and HBO Max.”

He continued to say: “DC is something that we think we could make better and we’re focused on it now.”

The Warner Brothers film studio has big plans for the comic-book-movie scene barring the “Batgirl” movie. They plan to make a series of DC super-hero comic book movies throughout the course of ten years. They wish to emulate the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The CEO of the Warner Brother’s movie studio is named David Zaslav. Zaslav stated that he and the other executives behind the movie named “Batgirl” chose not to release the film despite the movie studio’s plans to make a series of DC comic book movies.

“We’re not going to launch a movie until it’s ready,” said Zaslav. “We’re not going to launch a movie to make a quarter, and we’re not going to put a movie out unless we believe in it.”

What do you think about Zaslav’s decision to scrap, “Batgirl?”

Always and forever,

  1. I liked the actress who played “Nina” in the movie “In the Heights.” I would have liked to see this film.
